O’Side Turkey Trot Coming Nov. 24th

The 11th annual PMCU Turkey Trot makes its way to Oceanside on Thanksgiving Day, November 24th. This 10k/5k run/walk has become a popular event in North County, with thousands participating each year from more than 40 states.

And whether you run individually or as part of a team, there’s a spot for everyone in this healthy way to celebrate the holiday. What’s more, $5 from every registration can go back to Vista Unified School District if you choose us as a beneficiary. That’s a win-win situation!

The personalized bid deadline is October 31st, so be sure to register today and choose VUSD as your beneficiary.

Alamosa Park Hawks Soar…And Trot

Alamosa Park Elementary’s Hawks have had a growing presence at the event the past few years, so much so that the trot’s organizers invited Alamosa 3rd grade teacher and team captain Janeen Baylon to write for the trot’s website and encourage other schools to join in.
